Talk about a thick and luscious cocoa--this one is just that! Throw in a few pinches of some of your favorite holiday spices, and you're set for life!

Rich & Creamy Hot Cocoa


- Yields two servings -


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1, 9.5 oz can of Nature's Greatest Foods Evaporated Coconut Milk

  • 3 Tbsp coconut cream

  • 2 Tbsp water

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • A pinch of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & allspice


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Simply stir your liquid ingredients together in a little saucepan over medium-low heat, sift in your cocoa powder (sifting reduces clumps - this is important!) and add in your seasonings, salt and vanilla.

  2. Let this mixture simmer on medium-low heat in your saucepan for a few minutes. Serve warm with plenty of Paleo Marshmallows or homemade whipped cream! Enjoy!
